System Requirements

There are two versions of the software available: Version 4.0, for most users; and Version 3.6, for those who use Windows 3.1. Following are the system requirements for each.

Computer:
Version 4.0: 486 or higher processor, running Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP
Version 3.6: 386 or higher processor, running Windows 3.1, 95, or later (as above)
Pentium processor at 100 mhz or faster is recommended for either version

Memory:
Version 4.0: 64 MB RAM recommended for Windows 98 or later (16MB for Windows 95)
Version 3.6: 8 MB RAM recommended

Disk Space:
Version 4.0: 3 MB (plus 3 MB temporary space during download and install)
Version 3.6: 1 MB (plus 1 MB temporary space for download)

Operating System:
Version 4.0: Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP
Version 3.6: Windows 3.1 or higher (as above)


Pricing

DoubleDeck Pinochle for Windows is shareware. This is not free software, but it comes with a free 15 day trial period. The download available here is fully functional, except that it will only play 25 unique games of Pinochle (you may repeat them).

The registered program provides 99,999,999 unique games, plus free upgrades to any future versions. The registration fee is $15 (U.S.).  You may register (order) the software here.

All upgrades are free to registered users of prior versions.
